Business 283
This week went well. I was unable to turn in my $100.00 project because I was at
work. The reading s and videos were great. Tom Nall is a pretty cool dude. The thing that
I liked most about him was his humble beginnings and his desire to succeed. He
stated that he started with a paper route in Plano and said that he wanted to
have the largest paper route in in Plano, not because of how much money it
could make, but because he wanted to have the largest paper route. I found that
comment to be very funny and interesting. I liked how Tom paid tribute to all
of his small jobs that he had before he made it big. He said the jobs taught
him how to work and sell products. Tom talked about having determination, not
to be afraid to fail, and be different. I think these are the characteristics
that made tom successful and a good person. I agree with Tom that entrepreneurs
are risk takers, but they make calculated risks. Entrepreneurs know when to
start and when to stop and that is why so many entrepreneurs are successful.
Tom is an awesome success story. It was a great week and I learned a lot.
