It has been a pretty good week. I feel that I have learned a
lot from the readings and videos that I watched. I had never read or listened
to President Hinckley’s talk before. It was very powerful and really opened my
eyes to a lot of things. I have a daughter who is four and I couldn’t help but
think of the challenges that she will from the world, as she gets older. I
realized that I have a huge responsibility in teaching correct principles and
values that will aid her, as she grows older. I am grateful for the teachings
of the Gospel and living prophets who receive revelation to guide us. No matter
how much the world changes, as Latter day saints we must not. This is true in
our professional careers. It is important that we do nor conform to the world,
and stand up for what’s right. I think if we have this mentality in our careers
we will be looked at as leaders and people who can be trusted. I have really
enjoyed listening to Guy Kawasaki. He is very inspirational and gives a lot of
great advice when it comes to the entrepreneur world. I like how Guy is always
preaching to do something that will benefit and change the world. I hope and
pray that I can create an idea that will help change the world for the better.
